The Children’s Ministry at Fairview Baptist Church covers the entire scope of a child’s life from birth to fifth grade. We offer Sunday School, Discipleship Training, Choir and Missions classes. We also provide a Mother’s Day Out program through our Child Development Center (C.D.C.) for children age 15 months to 4 years. This allows mothers to have some time away on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year and gives us an opportunity for our church to minister to children and families in our community. Our goal is to make church a safe and nurturing environment where children are accepted and loved. We want to guide children to a knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is, to lead them toward a relationship with God and to learn how to live for Jesus in their everyday lives outside of church. Fairview offers several opportunities for children to learn about Jesus while developing relationships with their peers. We believe that every part of our ministry is important.
